Recognizing the vision is so big and other ministries have already paid the price to create a successful model for many of our visions and goals; Sonshine Ministries endeavors to establish alliances with like-minded ministries who operate from the “same stream”.

African Ministry Affiliates:

International Evangelism Centre and Church

Our very first ministry partner, IEO has guided us through some very difficult places. Their founder, Bishop Eliudi Issangya first sold Sonshine Ministries our property, helped us register according to Tanzanian law, has given us space on many of their ocean containers traveling to Tanzania and has blessed us in many more ways. Bishop Eliudi's heart is to see his local countrymen be blessed through the work of the Lord. He has demonstrated over and over his faithfulness to the Lord and to the ministry God has placed him over.

Fire Evangelistic Church

Fire Church and Pastor Sylvester Gissu have partnered with Sonshine Ministries since our very first ministry trip to Arusha; whether helping with Street Festivals, organizing Church Seminars, or interviewing potential orphans and abandons children Fire Church aids and assist us in many ways. We are like minded and our alliance has helped all both ministries to grow together and accomplish much more than  we could have accomplished separately. Pastor Gissu also serves on our Tanzanian board and oversees our monthly accounting.

Heroes of the Nation

Heroes of the Nation and their directors Weston and Violet Gitonga have established the largest and best operated children’s center in East Africa. Their 500 children rank in the top 5% of the nation academically, they provide everything necessary for the children to succeed including lots of love. Our friend Weston develops and trains Sonshine's future workers in areas from house-parents to administrators to farm workers.

Rivers of Life Church

Home church for Ray and Melody Schumacher (founders of Sonshine Ministries International). Rivers of Life is a place where the Holy Spirit is free to reign. Pastor Carl Nine mentors and encourages the body to first listen to the Lord and then to be obedient to the call He puts upon our lives.

Global Mission Awareness

GMA founder Leif Hetland has ministered in Tanzania for more than 8 years., GMA leads the African Call, an annual outreach touching thousands for the Lord. Leif has a vision to establish a school of healing, a conference center and a home to provide restoration to weary missionaries in East Africa. Together we are working to establish this important ministry on the plot adjacent to Sonshine Village. Both ministries see the benefits of working together to create this partnership alliance.

Prophetic Apostolic Ministries                                             

Founded by Gene Bacon; Gene and his wife, Terri travel all over the United States, and minister in foreign countries as well. God has opened many doors of ministry to them in East Africa, specifically Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Gene has also ministered in Europe, Israel, South America, the Caribbean and Mexico.

The Living Word Ministries   

Pastor John Schimonitz leads this new body of believers in Omaha Nebraska, they are active in supporting our ministry team. The Living Word is home church for one of our key leaders, Catherine Opere.
